George Y. Yiangou LLC, providing legal services since 1981, is currently looking to hire a Compliance Officer for its offices in Nicosia.

AML Compliance Officer

Job Duties:

The job holder is expected to have deep knowledge of the Anti-Money Laundering Laws and Procedures as well as the Sanctions regulations and will be responsible for ensuring that the Company is in compliance with them. Amongst other duties, the successful candidate will be designing and implementing internal AML Compliance policies, ensuring that the Company’s staff is well informed and trained on related matters.

Qualifications and Personal Characteristics:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 2-4 years of experience in the field of AML Compliance
• ICA Certification in AML for ICPAC and CBA Members or CySEC AML Certification will be considered as an advantage
• Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English language
• Excellent knowledge of the AML Compliance Legislation and sanction regulation
• Problem solving skills
• Critical thinking
• Integrity and professional ethics

 

Remuneration Package:

The successful candidates will be offered a competitive remuneration package including 13^th salary, provident fund, 22 days of annual leave etc.
