Francesca Iosif joined George Y. Yiangou LLC in 2017 after completing her traineeship with the firm. Francesca is now a member of the Corporate department after having worked extensively in Litigation.
Francesca’s focus is in the area of GDPR compliance including reviewing and drafting documentation in all areas of data protection, privacy law and freedom of information, ensuring compliance and addressing potential issues faced by clients. Additionally, she is responsible with overseeing the firm’s data protection strategy and its implementation to ensure compliance with GDPR requirements.
Furthermore, Francesca advices on DAC6 matters, ensuring the firm’s compliance with the 6th version of Council Directive 2011/16/EU on administrative co-operation in the field of taxation (DAC6) and implementing legislation in the EU. By the same token, Francesca provides aid, assistance or advice in relation to the designing, marketing, organising or implementing of a reportable cross-border arrangement to the firm’s clients.
Francesca’s expertise also lies in the area of immigration law, providing effective representation and constant support to clients who have legal needs involving immigration law or litigation in relation to public procurement and administrative law matters.
